Our churches are important for the climate resilience and collective well-being of Pacific people in Tāmaki Makaurau. Churches and other community hubs have stepped in when people have needed help including becasue of the impact of flooding and severe weather, and during the Covid 19 pandemic.
We want to learn from our churches about how we take care of each other and also make sure our churches are well prepared for when unexpected events happen in Tāmaki Makaurau.

○ Where is the nearest defibrillator to our church?
○ Where is the nearest first aid kit to our church?
○ Who checks the church building(s) before a storm?
○ Who checks the church building(s) after a storm?
○ Does our church flood during heavy rain?
○ Does our church have the capacity to help our neighbours?
○ Does our church meet to help us prepare for severe weather?
